StatCam Aerial Surveillance System

StatCam StatCam

Latitude Engineering's StatCam Surveillance System is an integrated, full-featured airborne surveillance system that uses high-performance aerostats, electrical-optical (EO) and infrared (IR) sensors, and a secure networked communications system to provide real-time surveillance and monitoring, focused threat detection, identification, and object tracking for any strategic location. The StatCam system has a variety of military and commercial surveillance uses: remote monitoring of oil and gas pipelines, street scene and crowd monitoring, outdoor security, construction surveillance, border security, harbor monitoring, and strategic infrastructure and asset protection.

StatCam is easy to set up, deploy and recover. The system footprint is small and can be easily transported and deployed from a variety of vehicles. Different types of aerostats can be used to meet a variety of wind, weather, and endurance conditions.

System

The StatCam system consists of an aerostat, a self contained airborne sensor package, and a base station. Data is transmitted and received from the airborne sensor via a wireless link with a local base station which can be attached to a network. Control can be local or assigned to an arbitrary location on the network. Video can also be viewed by several users on the network.
